Hague Museum of Photography
The Photography Museum, (or Fotomuseum) in The Hague is located in the same complex as the GEM Museum. The Photography museum was opened in 2002, and typically holds four topical exhibitions each year featuring a mixture of well known photographers and relatively unknown names.

Hannemahuis Museum
The Hannemahuis Museum on Voorstraat in Harlingen is located in an eighteenth-century merchant’s house.

Hash, Marihuana & Hemp Museum
The Hash, Marihuana and Hemp Museum opened in 1985, and sees over 75,000 visitors each year. The museum is dedicated to the cannabis plant and its many uses.

Heineken Experience
The Heineken Experience is located on the site of the original Heineken Brewery. The building was constructed in 1867, and was used as a brewery until 1988.

Hekenswaag
Oudewater is a small town about 11km outside of Gouda. During the witch hunts of the 16th century the Emperor Charles V granted the town weigh-master of Oudewater the right to issue certificates that stated that “the accused’s weight is in accordance with the natural proportions of the body”.

Hermitage Museum
In the early 1990s, the St Petersburg based State Hermitage Museum started looking for a place to host a satellite museum in the west. Professor Mikhail Piotrovsky decided that Amsterdam would be the best place, given the strong historical links between the two cities.

Het Houten Huys
Het Houten Huys, which translates to ‘The Wooden House’ is one of the few remaining pre-Reformation buildings on the Begijnhof in Amsterdam.

Het Loo Palace
The Het Loo Palace and estate has been a summer home to generations of Dutch royalty since its construction in 1685. It was converted to a museum in 1984, and now houses a collection of paintings, furniture, tapestries, silver, glassware and ceramics celebrating the history of the House of Orange.

Hoeden Museum
The Hoeden Museum “Zet ’m Op” is located in Andijk. It hosts a collection of hats, caps, sunguards, and related materials including ornate hat boxes, and hat related magazines.

Hofje Van Brienen
The Hofje Van Brienen, also known as De Star, after the foundation which took over the site in 1841, is located on the Prinsengracht, and is one of the cities prettiest hofjes, or almshouses.
