Munttoren   
The Munttoren, or Mint Tower, is a tower that stands in the Muntplein square, near the flower market in Amsterdam. The tower was originally part of one of the main gates in Amsterdam’s medieval city wall.

Museon   
The Museon is located in the same complex as the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague. It is aimed mostly at children, and offers a look at all aspects of human history and our interaction with the environment.

Museum Beelden aan Zee   
The Museum Beelden-aan-Zee is located on Hartvelstraat in Scheveningen. It is a museum featuring an assortment of interesting modern sculptures arranged on a pavilion built by King William 1 for his ailing wife, Wilhelmina, in 1826.

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen   
The Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen hosts a huge collection of fine art from 16th and 17th century Dutch and Flemish artists. The collection includes works by Rubens, Hals, Rembrandt, Dürer, and Cézanne. There are also a number of works by international artists, including Salvdaor Dali and Man Ray.

Museum Bredius   
Museum Bredius is a museum displaying a collection of painttings that were donated to the city from the private collection of art connoisseur and former director of the Mauritshuis, Abraham Bredhuis, in 1946.

Museum Broekerveiling   
Museum Broekerveiling is the oldest sail-through auction in the world. The auction first started in 1887, and visitors can get a feel for the atmosphere of the auction as they take a look at the historic auction building and the mooring halls.

Museum De Dubbelde Palmboom   
The Museum De Dubbelde Palmboom is devoted to the history of Rotterdam and its role in international trade. The museum examines how the exotic goods imported by the East India Company affected the city. The exhibits are all labelled in Dutch, but an English guide is available.

Museum Het Catharijneconvent   
The Museum Het Catharijneconvent is housed in the old St. Catherine’s Convent, and holds a large collection of medieval religious items, including various works of art, paintings, relics, carvings and religious robes.

Museum Het Catharina Gasthuis   
The Museum Het Catharina Gasthuis is housed in a 1665 mansion near Sint Janskerk, which formerly used as a hospital.

Museum Het Schielandshuis   
The Museum Het Schielandshuis is an anomaly amongs the high-rise towers and office buildings in Rotterdam. The city’s sole surviving 17th century building, Het Schielandshuis has been carefully restored and now serves as a museum.
