Dudelange Castle
Sitting on a wooded hill called Gehaansbierg and Mont St Jean, Dudelange Castle dates from 1412. It was probably built on the site of an earlier medieval castle. This once important fortress was destroyed by the French in 1552. A tower offers views over the extensive remains and the Alzette Valley.

Echternach Lake
Echternach Lake is a large, artificial lake situated near the site of a Roman villa on the edge of the town. The lake is part of a recreational centre offering activities such as fishing, sailing, canoeing and wind surfing. There are opportunities for games, including mini-golf.

Edmund Klein Park
Created on the site of a former fortification,the park has a variety of flowerbeds as well as lawns and trees. There are also sculptures of international personages including Mahatma Gandhi.

Erpeldange Castle
The small town of Erpeldange is located north-east of Ettelbruck at the entrance to the Valley of the Upper Sure. It has a Renaissance castle, dating from the early 17th Century that has been built on the site of an earlier fortification.

Esch-Sur-Sure Castle
The castle ruins tower above the tiny, picturesque village of Esch-Sur-Sure sited on a bend of the River Sure. The 10th Century keep is the oldest part of the castle which is still standing, whilst the defensive walls are 13th Century.

Eugene Pesch Museum
The museum houses the fascinating collection made by Eugene Pesch who lived and worked in the area. He devoted much of his life to collecting fossils, minerals and miners` tools. Lasauvage was a steel and mining village for over 350 years, the last mine closing in the 1970s.

Euro Hotel
The Euro Hotel is located within easy distance of the Luxembourg Airport, and is close to the main attractions of Gonderange, which are the Castle Bourglinster and our famous golf course.The hotel is situated on the edge of Grunewald and is close to the centre of Luxembourg.

Europa Museum Schengen
The Europa Museum houses a permanent exhibition of the work by American Matt Lamb, an artist dedicated to the promotion of peace, tolerance and love throughout the world. Matt Lamb was born in Chicago and, since becoming an artist, his work has been exhibited in many countries.

Europe Information House
Schengen lies in the extreme south-east of the Grand Duchy on the borders of France and Germany. This small village has become famous because it was here, in 1983, that the Schengen Treaty was signed. This agreement abolished border controls between the various countries of the European Union.

Fort Thungen
Built in 1732 as an additional defence, the fort was named after Baron Thungen, the Austrian commander. A moat surrounded the fort which could only be accessed through a 169 metre long tunnel. During the 19th Century, the Prussians extended and enlarged the fort.
