Place du Marche
Grevenmacher was a fortified town in the Middle Ages and a few remnants of its towers and walls are still standing. Near the Market Place a 26 metres high former watchtower forms the belfry of the parish church.

Place du Marche
Located in the heart of Echternach, this charming, medieval, market place is surrounded by ancient buildings whose facades and arcades have been carefully restored. In the square is the Gothic `Denzalt`, the old courthouse which was the magistrate`s court.

Post and Telecommunications Museum
This postal museum relates the history of the post and telecommunications in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The huge collection includes historical appliances such as a morse telegraph line and a manual telephone. You can also see a stagecoach from 1880. Also of interest are the old postmen`s uniforms.

Pottery Museum
For hundreds of years, the small village of Nospelt was the centre of Luxembourg`s ceramics industry. The production of pottery thrived here from 1458 until 1914 when the last workshop closed.

Printing Museum and Museum of Playing Cards
Here are two unusual museums. In the Printing Museum the visitor can learn about the history of printing in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg through specific objects and audio-visual means.

Quiren Chapel
Ancient Quiren Chapel is in the Petrusse Valley, near Pont Viaduc. Built into the rock, it is sited near a spring once reputed to be helpful in curing eye complaints.

Raschpetzer
The archaeological site Raschpetzer is an underground aqueduct constructed in the Roman era. Dug out of the rock in the 2nd Century AD, it provided drinking water to a group of Roman villas near Helmsange.

Remerschen Zone of Recreation and Sport
The Remerschen recreation area comprises over 130 hectares where the whole family can enjoy themselves taking part in water sports and games. There are 25 hectares of water offering opportunities for swimming, fishing, surfing, canoeing, rowing or pedalling pedalos. Motor boats are not allowed.

Rham Plateau
The high ground above the River Alzette and the Grund district is known as the Rham Plateau. After taking the city of Luxembourg from the Spaniards, the French fortress builder Vauban built the military barracks on the plateau in 1685.

Rindschleiden Church
Located on the Ardennes plateau, the church dates from the 10th Century and it is known for its superb, highly coloured, 15th and 16th Century frescoes. They cover a large area of the church, which was enlarged in the 15th Century.
