Traunsee Castle
The Schloss Traunsee, also known as the Villa Maria Theresia, was built between 1872 and 1875 by Herzog Philipp von Württemberg for his wife Maria Theresia. The family used the castle, set in a beautiful lakeside, location as a summer residence until Philipp’s death in 1907.

Treasury of the Teutonic Order
This is a diverse collection of ecclesiastical treasures amassed over seven centuries by Grand Masters of the Teutonic Order and is one of the oldest in Vienna. Exhibits range from ordinary coins, crosses and seals to fossilised adders’ tongues, able to detect poisoned food.

Trinity Column
The 20 metre high Baroque Trinity Column, or Dreifaltigkeitssäule, in the Hauptplatz, was completed in 1723. The column is made of white marble from Salzburg by the Sebastian Stumpfegger following the design of architect Antonio Beduzzi.

Triumphal Arch
Transformed from the south gate of Innsbruck and reminiscent of a Roman triumphal arch, the Triumphpforte was built on the orders of Empress Maria Theresa to honour the marriage of her son, the Duke of Tuscany, to Maria Ludovica from Spain.

University Church
The University Church was constructed more than seventy years after the founding of the Benedictine University, in 1623, by the distinguished Baroque architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. The building, von Erlach’s most accomplished work and one of the most magnificent in Austria, was finally consecrated on November 20, 1707.

University of Vienna
Although the University of Vienna was founded in 1365 by Duke Rudolf IV, making it one of the oldest universities in Europe, this building is strictly speaking the ‘Neue Universität’.

Untertauern wildlife park
The Wildpark Untertauern is more than just a wildlife park because here you can spend a family day out fishing, playing volley ball, strolling by around or bathing in the lake as well as feeding the wild animals.

Ursuline Church
The Ursulinenkirche, dedicated to St. Michael, was the church of a former nunnery. It was built between 1736 and 1772 by the Linz architects Johann Haslinger and Johann Matthias Krinner.

Vienna Concert House
Richard Strauss wrote the ‘Festliches Präludium op. 61’ to inaugurate the Vienna Concert House on 19 October 1913, a concert attended by Emperor Francis Joseph I.
