Miracle’s Wax Museum
Miracles Wax Museum, which can be found next door to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s birthplace, is devoted to an evocation of Salzburg in the year 1791 when the city was at a peak politically and culturally.

Moosham Castle
Schloss Moosham is a 14th century castle built by the prince-bishops of Salzburg. The stronghold was the seat of a district court which, in the 17th and 18th centuries, achieved notoriety for its summary trials and executions of witches, beggars and other misfits.

Motor Museum
The collection of the Museum Fahrzeug Technik Luftfahrt represents the history of transport over the last eighty years. The exhibits include a wide selection of civilian, agricultural and military vehicles, from the bicycle to the aeroplane, for example, scooters, motorcycles, passenger cars, tractors, track laying vehicles, locomotives and aircraft.

Motorbike Trial Museum
The European Motorcycle Trial Museum in Ohlsdorf, Gmunden, in the Salzkammergut shows a unique international exhibition of the history of trial motorcycle sport. There is a picture gallery of all Europe and world champions from 1980 and the motorcycles ridden by them.

Mountain Museum
Gold was discovered in the Gastein valley at least a thousand years ago but it wasn’t extracted systematically until much later, the the 14th century. The best years of production were between 1506 and 1558.

Mountain Wolf Farm
The Mountainwolf Farm opened in 2002 and offers the unforgettable experience of trekking with dog sleds pulled by huskies and mountain walks in snow shoes. The farm is located in a beautiful, remote forest setting 960 metres above sea level.

Mozart House
The Mozarthaus has an interesting past. It was here that the designer of the world’s steepest mountain railway, the Pöstlingbergbahn, lived from 1893 to 1895.

Mozart Memorial Place
St. Gilgen’s district court house houses the Mozart-Gedenkstätte, a memorial room set up to house a collection of portraits and documents connected with the family of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This is the house, where Mozart’s mother, Anna Maria Walburga Pertl, was born in 1720.
