Figarohaus
This was Mozart’s home from 1884 to 1887 along with his wife Constanze and their son, Karl Thomas. The time he spent here was amongst his most productive and included work such as his opera ‘The Marriage of Figaro’.

Folk Museum
The Heimatmuseum, extended and modernised in 1992, was opened in 1981 by the local historical society in the former Goiserermühle.

Folk Museum
The Felberturmmuseum, which opened in 1969, is based around a 12th century tower and is dedicated to local history, in particular rural handicrafts, popular culture and customs. It houses the most comprehensive folk collection in the whole of Land Salzburg.

Folklore Museum
The Volkskundemusem if housed in the Hellbrunner Monatsschlössl (Schloss Waldems) on Hellbrunner Berg overlooking the Schloss Hellbrun. The building, hunting lodge built for Archbishop Markus Sitkus, dates from the 17th century.

Football Club and Stadium
FC Red Bull Salzburg is an Austrian premier division football club based at the Wals Siezenheim Stadium on the outskirts of Salzburg. The original club, SV Austria Salzburg was founded in 1933 by an amalgamation of Hertha Salzburg and Rapid Salzburg.

Football Stadium
The Waldstadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Pasching, a suburb of Linz. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Superfund, formerly SV Pasching, which participates in the Austrian T-Mobile Bundesliga.

Forest Canopy Walkway
The spectacular and unusual Baumkronenweg is the longest tree top walk in the world, offering a bird’s-eye view of woodlands and countryside. The lowest and highest levels, between 3 and 22 metres, are connected by stairs, platforms, ropeways, a suspension bridge and a trampoline. There is even a long wooden slide.

Fortifications
Freistadt, which was the principal town of the lower Mühlviertel region on the salt route to Bohemia, is ringed with 4 kilometres of fortifications which are still largely intact. The spectacular 50 metre high keep, double walls, moats, towers and gates were completed in two phases, in about 1300 and 1400.

Fountain of the Planets
Peter Guet’s allegorical Fountain of the Planets, dating from 1582, can be found in the beautiful arcaded courtyard of the Landhaus. The central column features bronze statues representing the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars and Saturn with Jupiter above them.

Franciscan Church
The Franziskanerkirche is one of Salzburg’s oldest churches whose history can be traced back to Salzburg’s early Christian period. The building has been repeatedly remodelled, most significantly in the 12th and 15th centuries, and encompasses architectural styles from nearly all periods since its foundation.
