We plan to arrive to the UK on June 12 (from Israel). I have a cat show I wish to attend on Saturday (the 14th) near London and then another cat show on the next Saturday near Oxford.

Traveling with me are my husband and our 16 months old baby. We have visited London before several times so now we wish to visit other places. In the past, we have also been to East Yorkshire (York and Whitby), to Wales and to Chester. We've also been to Scotland.

This time around we wanted to keep car travel to relatively short distances as we have the baby with us. We thought of going down to Brighton on Saturday or Sunday for 2-3 days and then make our way up to Oxfordshire.

We're having a hard time finding good B & B's in Brighton - everything seems to be taken. Is Brighton that busy really?

Hello there,

Brighton can be very popular sometimes. I've not been often so I'm not really 'in the know' but whenever I've been there, it's been pretty packed. I would imagine a weekend in June would be no different, particularly if it turns out to be a nice summer's day.

If you're still struggling to find something accommodation-wise, you could try our site at http://www.ukhotel.com/south-east-england/brighton.htm - it currently lists 8 hotels in the area, all of which can be contacted directly by email from the respective pages - I hope that's some help at least.

Paul
