|
|
Hi everyone
I recently got married and am looking for affordable locations anywhere outside the UK, that would be suitable for a honeymoon. We've managed to accumulate around £1700 through Trail Finders and would like somewhere that has good beaches, water sports activities and some peace and quiet.
We'd really appreciate a few ideas before we go to see the afore mentioned company on Monday and would welcome any suggestions you may have. Hope you can help.
Thanks

Hi
Look I dont want to get in trouble for trying to sell, so look at oman as a destination. You can look stopping in a hotel for couple of nights then travel round the coast to beaches with nobody on. Self drive in 4 x 4 with all camping equipment. I think the Flights will be the biggest cost.
all the best

Thailand has lovely beaches if you avoid all the main tourist area. Also it is very affordable and the food is fantastic. Southern India as well and it is even cheaper, what you need to do it is to avoid the main tourist area. _________________ Berlin Apartments

I'd recommend Vietnam, reaonable prices and some great beaches. Have a look at Hoi an, we are off there shortly and I cannot wait. _________________ Holiday Villas for rent |

Thanks guys, great ideas - we're starting to build a good shortlist now!
We've delayed our honeymoon until October, when prices will go down and things aren't so last-minute. So we now have more options in terms of World wide destinations, whereas before we we're limited just to Europe due to cost.
Many thanks |

Yeah they do! The wife's a primary school teacher so we'll go during her half-term which will be late in the month, probably October 18th.
We're just hoping that we'll save by avoiding August peak-time. Hopefully the extra time will allow us to shop around for the best deals, should they be available. |

Same from me: Vietnam.
The biggest cost will be getting there, but once you're there, you can eat well and stay in modest accomodation for just a few dollars a day.
We had our honeymoon there, and loved every minute of it. We did push the boat out on occasion, but mostly we stayed in backpacker hostels and ate street food or from local restaurants. _________________ Track your Euros here

Why would one have to be very careful with the people from Vietnam? What was your experience to come to that conclusion? Haven't heard this about Vietnam before. _________________ My flight map. A million miles and counting....Where I’ve been around the globe. |
