Johnny Depp has bought a Caribbean island for £1.9 million.

The movie star dug deep for the mile-long island in the Bahamas so he can take girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their children - Lily-Rose Melody, five and Jack, two - there for some peace and quiet.

Little Halls Pond Cay is 60 miles south of Nassau and has six white sandy beaches and a lagoon surrounded by palm trees. There is also a private harbour and staff quarters.

It's alright for some, eh...? Wink
