Best Place to eat local food in dubai

Does anyone know whats the best place to eat local food in Dubai. I live in London and will be traveling to Dubai next month, I really like to try some of the local food

Well, Dubai has plenty of places to eat different types of local food but I give you some of the restaurant’s name where you can enjoy yummy cuisine:
1- Renaissance Hotel which is located in Salah Al Din Road Deira
2- Hotel St. George

Many years ago the best place for authentic local/Indian food in Dubai was Ravi's near the trade centre roundabout, as it was then. Don't know if it still exists but used to do great cheap local food, well worth a visit.

You can go to Ravi or Karachi Darbar to try the local foods in Dubai

there are many good hotels in dubai, now a days.. but if you want to try indian than i would recommend Ravi's to you... you should defiantly go if you are not that into indian food.. it'll change your mindset...

Well, Dubai means spending money, as much as you can. I could name a very good restaurant will be very nice to enjoy diner or launch, are A La Grand and La dana, is the main restaurant of Crowne Plaza Dubai having nice variety of international foods.

I wouldn't go to any hotels, doesn't sound like a very authentic atmosphere. Yeah Ravi is good!
