The best ones I have seen are:-
Algae lighting up the sea when disturbed in Koh Pha Ngan, Thailand
Night of a billion fireflies (fireflies mating season) Cabo Delgado Province, Mozambique |

|
|
Sunset on Everest is one of the rare scene as the weather turns bad in the later half of the day. I was lucky to get the chance once. We were climbing down from the Renjo La pass and suddenly the sky cleared up. So instead of going down to the lodge I climbed up to Gokyo Ri (5,400m) and waht I saw from the top was mind-blowing. I kept on taking snaps of the phantasmagoria of evening lights over Mt. Everest. _________________ Nepal Trekking Picture

| A month in Iceland and we had our fill of volcanos, waterfalls, geysers, tectonic plates, hot pools.. they really have more than their fair share of incredible sights! |

I loved being so far north that the light never goes away. Up in Alaska in June. Incredible. _________________ How I work abroad. Where I travel abroad. |

| Sunrise at Mount Bromo in Java. Amazing light beams across the sky, then it felt like being on the moon walking up to the volcano. |

| I've thought about this a lot, and I'd have to say the full moon that I saw while out on the ocean. It doesn't hold a candle to what I actually saw that night. I couldn't tell where the sea ended, and the moon began, and it was sooo unbelievably huge. It was so damn big that I got vertigo just looking at it. |

| I have to go with the Aurora Borealis in Finland, but I've seen some amazing stone structures in the Teutoburger Forest in Germany as well. Not as cool as Stonehenge maybe, but still pretty awesome, because it's in the middle of the forest and there's literally not a soul there! |
