hi there - First time poster

I’m Dave a 30 something traveller originally from the Midlands but now living down in the South of the UK. I was lucky enough to travel a fair bit as a child – which appears to have given me a penchant for travelling. I also love the outdoors, especially when mountains and snow are in the mix. I first learned to snowboard in 2000 and have been hooked ever since.

The purest might say I’m not a real traveller as I’ve never backpacked, but to me travel is travel regardless of how it is achieved. Experiencing new cultures, meeting new people and seeing as much of this amazing planet is what it’s all about.
