There is no shortage of things to see and do in Colorado. Great Sand Dunes NP is fun for kids and adults. Mesa Verde NP in southwest Colorado is great if you have an interest in Indian cliff dwellings and like to walk. The Colorado Springs area is perhaps my favorite area of Colorado with The Garden Of The Gods, Cheyenne Mountain and Canyon, Pike's Peak which you can either drive up or go up on the cog railroad and the US Air Force Academy. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a great zoo. You can also easily visit the old gold mining town of Cripple Creek from Colorado Springs. The Royal Gorge is a must see. In the north, Rocky Mountain NP and Estes Park are not to be missed.

Have A Great Trip!!

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is beautiful, I definitely recommend. Have a look before you go:

How old is your daughter? I went with my little sister who was 8 and she absolutely loved it.

Have a good trip!
