My question is whether during this month I must stay in one location, or instead have an ability to sample different locations. I must be a typical American, because my attention span may not be suited for a 30-day stay anywhere.
In the luxury category, a full month along the Mediterranean would seem to be exciting. Although I'd be tempted to venture around from place to place nearby, the Spanish coastline would seem to be an unforgettable venue. For example, Mallorca Island has long captivated my imagination, and Palma is probably worth a full month of discovery.
I'd be interested in others' impressions regarding Mallorca for luxury travel purposes. _________________ OnlineTravel4U.com ...... *Free* member advantages ...... Download and use free *Boarding Pass* software ...... Lowest travel website fares in just 1 click. |

It’s funny, I just was looking for some Tours in Brazil and I found a Company that offers something like you say over here. “Dream Vacation”… of course the Dream vacations are not for everyone. You need a couple of thousand dollars to do it. But, if I have the money I think I could easily be interested in http://www.brazilonboard.net . Sailing Boat, companions, sushiman… they read my dreams!. |

The Landscape of Italy has always facinated me!
It has incrediable mountians, and beutiful bodiies of water
that surround it. ANd all the incrediable cities to visit..
I could easily spend 30 days in Italy..
as the above Post said, I am American and the attention span is that of
an ant..:
So I would want to stay in at least 4 different resorts and different locals of
the country..
My dream vacation..
O yea.. I LOVE italian food too..

I would take a jet to San Diego, then to the Caroline Islands or somewhere down where it's warm. I'd stay in a luxurious house, surf all day, and lounge on the beach all night for the first week. Anyone have a margarita? Then for the next three, I'd attach my kayak to a single-engine floatplane and go island hopping - hiking and kayaking every island I see from the air. Ok, I'm drooling just thinking about this...
Forgot this: rather than buying cheap food from a nearby store, I'd pack up pounds of high-quality beef, lettuce and tomato from my garden, Kosher pickles and a cold draft beer, tie a grill to the left flaps and get going |

I love South Africa and Australia. I could definitely spend a whole month in any of these countries because they're so big and there's so much to see.
Take your pick of things to do - laze on a beach, go surfing; climb a mountain, hike through rain forests. Whatever your hearts desire, you'll find it here.
Infact, I'd go as far as to say that a month isn't long enough! Too greedy! _________________ It's All About You ...

New Zealand, of course...
And people do it...
http://www.luxury-new-zealand.com/luxury-golf-vacation.html is an example itinerary of a 22-day luxury golf tour through NZ (moderator, you can delete the link if it's out of place, I've only put it there to show what's possible). Check the features. And the PRICES!!
This little country down here at the bottom of the world has a lot to offer the luxury travel market and the luxury travel market is waking up to it pretty quickly...
Cheers,

Wow, you asked this question back in 2004 and I never answered it??
If I had an all expenses paid month to go anywhere, I would rent an apartment in Florence, Italy.
Then I would:
- Spend some time in Florence exploring some of the things I still want to explore there and nearby
- Make some day trips (or longer) to places in Italy like Venice, Parma, Chianti, etc.
- Make some weekend trips to places like Paris, Brussels, Barcelona, etc.

| If I were offered a months trip all expenses paid I would unquestionably go to all the Canary and Balearic Islands! They are beautiful places, with so much culture and history...if only! |

Well, if there are no rules to staying in one place, I would tour to many cities in one country. I would say Europe. Its fascinating and I would see many things there. What to do? Eat, tour, go on adventure, and take pictures.

Wow! A month's all expenses paid trip. I'm available!
I would go to Bangkok for a couple of nights in lebua at State Tower. Then fly up to Chiang Mai for a few days to do some masterclasses at Sompon Nabnian's cookery school.
Next I would fly to Penang and stay at the Eastern and Oriental Hotel for a couple of nights. Then on to Raffles, Singapore.
Hmm, that's only a week.
I'd like to go to China, because I've never been - but only on condition I didn't have to include factory visits in my itinerary.
And definitely Japan if it's all expenses paid.
Then maybe pop over to the USA, I've never been to the west coast.
By this time I'd be exhausted from carrying all the camera equipment around so maybe a week in Caithness to recover. And finally back to base camp. _________________ My books about travel and business |

Let's see now... I'd visit Seychelles, Ilha de Mozambique and Anguilla. Oh, and the Galapagos islands too. But the list is absolutely raw. _________________ Florida vacation rentals
