If you are looking for "without catering", the thing to search for is "self-catering" ("vacation rentals" in the US and other parts of the world).
How long are you going to be in Hastings for? Just a week or two? If that's the case, then you are probably just looking at a holiday rental. We have some listed on our site here at http://www.ukcottage.com/south-east-england/hastings.html
If you are going to be there on a longer term basis, it might be worth contacting some letting agencies in the town.
Although it's a catered option, the likes of the budget chains such as Premier Inn and Travelodge are also worth considering. They could accommodate you and your 2 children in one room, and Premier Inn prices can start from just £29 per room per night (though finding rooms at that price isn't always easy).
Good luck!

As far as I know, are a lot of cheap hotels that offer great services in Hastings. The city is also quite a good venue to spend the holidays , with plenty of sights to visit. _________________ Looking for a jobs in australia - PrincipalVisas.Com |

Thanks for your answers!
I'm looking for an apartment for three or four people for two months in July and August.
Exactly three people from early July until the first week of August and for four people to the end of agosto.Or just for 4 people for two summer months.
I want to spend a long time to learn the language at Hastings going to school, making new friends, going places and activities typical of the city.
Then in August when I reach my husband ,we will visit the nearby Hastings places and we'll go to London .
I will try to send my request to letting agencies.
I welcome any advice on any subject:
homes, habits, schools, courses, activities .....
Also:I found only the phone numbers of letting agencies.
How do I find their e-mails?
Thanks again.
Kind regards
Fanny |

Not to be rude or anything, but do you really want to spend your holiday in Hastings?
It's ok for a day trip but longer than that? How about Brighton instead? |

Errr... Hastings isn't a city. It's a town with a population of less than 100,000.
Have you tried contacting Hastings College? If you are visiting for two months out of term time, which it sounds like you are, then they might be able to offer an affordable option, or at the very least should be able to point you in the right direction. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering - UK B&Bs - UK Attractions

Was going to say that. Although one could add Brighton the the Itinerary.
There's a great sit down fish and chip joint in Hastings though. Can't remember the name. But if you ask for "the best fish and chip joint" someone will point you to it lol. |

| hastings is not bad at all, under one circumstance: you have a car or you are able to rent a car. but even if not, you can still use trains - it's I think 2hrs to london and you can easily spend whole day there, it's close to brighton and seven sisters... thats not bad destination to spend a week. |
