|
|
I'm trying to plan a trip to the Caribbean for my husband and I in October. We've never really been on a real trip, so this is going to be something big and special for us. I want something really romantic and it has to be very relaxing! Any recommendations on what island to go to and what activities are a must there? _________________ I've been banned for lying about my location. Caribbean is full of romantic destinations if you visit any island of it you can enjoy every moment. If you want the best island so I would like to suggest you to visit Jamaica because it is one of the best Island of Caribbean where every year tourists visit to spend for romantic honeymoon and vacation. There are lots of activities over there like swimming, snorkeling in limpid aqua blue water etc so visit there and enjoy your vacation. _________________ Romantic Bed and Breakfast | Cabin Rental Luray VA | Luray Caverns Cabins |

I can highly recommend Barbados, in particular, the Hilton at Needhams Point. Fabulous hotel, great staff, beautiful beach, 2 amazing swimming pools and great food. We spent 12 days there and didn't need to leave! Feel free to contact me if you would like me to send you some photos, I have plenty! _________________ tailor-made travel to the UK & Europe - working exclusively on behalf of travel retailers worldwide |

Sad to see Puerto Rico isn't on there . Anyone have a favorable vacation there? My boyfriend and I want to vacation in the Caribbean but PR is our only option since he can't travel outside the U.S. (no passport) and I'm a legal resident but not sure the photo of me when I was 7 years old will pass security checks. We're going September so applying for a passport at this point to someplace else isn't feasible. _________________ Travel |

You can either go to Barbados, Nevis, Jamaica or Belize. These are all beautiful places.

We all know that there are "plenty of romantic places to go in the Caribbean." desideriascott is looking for a recommendation for a specific island that might be really romantic. Since you are promoting Caribbean travel, I would think you would have some islands in mind that you could recommend. _________________ Lee's Travel Guide

Hey for all you non knowers, there is a little island called Barbuda, and it is fabulous! it is the sister island of Antigua, and has 1500 people living there. imagine all the nature and untainted lands and beaches available. if you want a mile of beach to yourself, Low bay can offer you this in Barbuda. it is a beach that runs for 17miles long.
The only thing is that there are few resorts on the island, and the ones that are there, are extremely expensive. IF you can afford it, then by all means go!
If not, there are also some beautiful resorts in Antigua, where you can stay. From Antigua, there are a couple of day tours to Barbuda. Personally i experienced the Excellence Barbuda cruise, and i had a blast. This is a huge catamaran with two decks, meaning plenty of space and plenty of shade. its a whole day tour that includes an open bar all day, a hot lunch, visiting the bird sanctuary, and seeing some of the most amazing beaches in the world!
check it out, and see for yourself, i garantee you will enjoy it. |

Aruba is the best island in Caribbean for me. It has so beautiful nature, great beaches, local people are so kind and friendly. The traditional food is very tasty. There are also amazing resorts there This is all I may need for my vacation |

For me it's Barbados. It's secluded and some beaches are totally deserted allowing you to completely get away from the stresses of life.
But you have to find them...more on that soon.
Best

|
|
| If you search for a mix of romance and relaxation, then there is no doubt Dominica is the chosen one. Not only that it is a place where sightseeing is bright and relaxing, but beside beaches and exotic diving or hiking, you have the chance to experience wellness in its pure state. Dominica has natural sulphur hot pools which is something like heaven on earth for those of us who really love spas and bodycare.[/url] |

|

Barbara Beach is one of my favourite places in the Caribbeans. This sandy beach is not so touristic, locals prefer it and for those who are a fan of topless bathing, I can assure you no one will be outraged by that.
For my next trip to Curaçao, I'll definetely need to go nearby Seaquarium Beach, the ideal place when travelling with family. |
