Hi all,
If you currently reside in the UK, please assist me with my dissertation by answering this short questionnaire which can be accessed by clicking on the link below.
It asks about your opinion/experiences with budget and full service airlines. It should not take longer than 3 minutes and is entirely confidential.
Your participation would really help me with my research so your contribution would be greatly appreciated.

That is fine GreedyAce, as long as you're an air traveller. You're better than me because I haven't flown this year unfortunately.

Thanks Prana.
Well I would publish it, but as the next chief exec of BA, it's probably not the wisest idea!  You might hold it against me! 
On a serious note though, it might make for some interesting discussions in the forum. My biggest problem at the moment is getting insights from people working in the industry. It's proving harder than I thought to get their input, particularly in the low-cost segment.
I'm still persevering nonetheless.

Hi Paul,
Perhaps I wasn't too clear. What I meant was that in addition to those questionnaires which are designed for UK air travellers, I am also supposed to gather some primary data from professionals in the industry who can provide their insights about the impact of low-cost airlines on full service airline business model and strategies.

Yep that could be difficult - I think Willie Walsh may be a bit busy the next few days. Then again he may not be doing a lot at all for the 12 days of xmas

I've filled it in. I am off to Morocco for Xmas and I guess a Xmas deserter
Hopefully though my flights won' get cancelled, airline strike or airline go out of business in the next week. |

Thanks Rsj. I know what you mean. All the recent hype about potential strikes, the weather and an airline going bust can seem a bit daunting. There's not much you can do than take the necessary precautions, stay informed and hope for the best! Enjoy your holiday and Merry Christmas! Hopefully you'll return from Morocco with some positive feedback to share.
