If anyone is planning on going to Winchburgh in Scotland, avoid the Tally Ho Hotel.

Somehow I can't believe that place is the 'roughest pub in the UK'.

You obviously didn't enjoy your experience but you can't just go around making suggestions like that... unless perhaps you've visited every pub in the UK...?? Rolling Eyes

Okay you got me on a technicality there Paul, but based on all the pubs I have been to, that one was "special".

Errr... I'm confused.

Are you one and the same 'gibraltar' and 'edinburgh b&b'... Question

Having multiple aliases on here isn't really the done thing, you know...

it's harsh to judge a pub on one experience. i worked in a pub that was known for not being the nicest one around but i enjoyed it. had no real trouble and everyone in there was friendly and not what i was expecting. 10 days after i handed the pub back to the manager someone was killed in a fight that got out of hand in the carpark.

sometimes reputation can make a big difference to a pub, for better or worse
