I believe it is a fantastic place, never been myself ,but should make the effort. getting a pass or becoming a member of somewhere can be good value, we were members of Chester zoo, we would go for a couple of hours, take a picnic, then come home,as you say you can not do places like that in one day.

My favourite day out in the UK is the Cotswolds! The scenery is beautiful and the towns are quintessentially (if not a bit stereotypically) English. It's an easy day trip from London, too. _________________ Europe Holidays |

My favorite day out in the UK, was when me and my mate were walking around Bristol. She was showing me her city, it was truly amazing. I could say the day I landed in the UK was my favorite day but it was a long day lol. Bristol is a wonderful city. Can't wait to go back |

I'd say
St Ives in Cornwall, a stroll through the quaint streets and then the beach, lunch at the Seafood Cafe
or a trip to Whitby, walk through the cobbled streets on the East side, and then up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey, and then a stroll on the beach |

My idea of a good day out is to go to the races.
A hot summer afternoon at York and a few beers. Perfect. |

| A trip to London does it for me. There is anything and everything you can do in London! Try not to stay there for more than a weekend at a time though as it isn't cheap |

I love going to Scarborough, North Yorkshire, for the day. I've done it with my parents since I was a kid and I still don't plan on growing out of it even though I've just turned 26, hehe! We do the traditional stuff; ice cream, fun fair rides, pedal boats, fish and chips (well just chips for me as I'm veggie, lol!). Think we are going again in a month or so |

My favourite day out in the UK and one which I do every year with my family is to head down to Paignton in South Devon and to also spend a few hours in Torquay which adjoins Paignton.
Make sure to visit Paignton Zoo and the beach in Torquay.! Great part of the UK. |

| if you're into shopping, then definitely go to oxford street. there's nothing better than shopping there on a sunny day. just beautiful, but be prepared to come with a hefty budget. |

I really like Greenwich when I took a trip to LondonIt has a beautiful park and some really nice restaurants. Just stay away from surrounding New Cross and Peckham.
