hotels - gay couple on holiday in Dubai

My boyfriend and i are going to Dubai next year and staying for 4 nights. we will not be planning to go to any gay places, however would like to know when booking a hotel room if its best to order to single beds in a room or if its fine to get a double?

Perhaps at a Western Chain hotel it may not be so much an issue, given that much of the hotel staff, in particular the housekeeping staff will likely be from the Philippines, India or some other nation where it may not be an issue. You can always leave it unspecified, and see what happens.

This is normal procedure to stay in a hotel in Dubai and any travel agent can assist you with your hotel booking. This has been no hassle every time l have stayed there, so use a travel agent to make things straight forward.
