It's just hard to prove either way.

And it often involves silly arguments. For example, some of the hoax claims that Paul posted a quite shaky, such as:

#1. Its Full of Stars!: Space is littered with little points of lights (stars). Why then are they missing from the photographs?
Because they require different exposures to capture on film.

#5. Death by Meteor: Space is filled with super-fast micro meteors that would punch through the ship and kill the astronauts.
This does happen in space, it's well documented.

#6. Liquid Water on the Moon: To leave a footprint requires moisture in the soil, doesn't it?
Nope.

I still don't understand how people cannot open their eyes and try to see, same for 9/11.

Well, reopening 9/11 gives you many, really many arguments about this inside job.
Obviously those who want to make us believe it was done by islamists have a lot of money to spend...
I am not trying to convince anyone, facts are talking for themselves.

The real issue with people who do not believe that astronauts landed on the moon comes down to a lack of understanding of the physics involved when you are operating in a near vacuum at 1/6 the gravity found on Earth.

A flag will appear to waive in a vacuum due to inertia and the lack of atmosphere to dampen the momentum. The flag in the videos did not waive on its own due to wind. It appears to waive only immediately after the astronauts planted it because there was nothing to stop the momentum except the weak 1/6 gravity.

The surface of the moon is very light colored and without an atmosphere to diffuse the light radiation from the sun, the brightness and reflectivity of the surface caused the "anomalies" claimed by the conspiracy theorists. There also is no air temperature because there is no air. There is a surface temperature, but an object has to be exposed to the sun for a long period of time in order to build up a high surface temperature. The cameras used were modified with a silver finish so that they did not absorb solar radiation.

The brightness and reflectivity of the surface explains the lack of stars in the background in the photos and videos. Anyone who knows about photography can easily explain this because the iris on the camera lenses had to be closed down in order to prevent the surface objects and astronauts from getting washed out due to overexposure. The stars in the background were not bright enough relative to the brightness of the moon's surface and therefore were not captured on film.

The surface of the moon has a consistency of talcum powder. You do not need moisture to create a footprint in powder. Whoever made the claim that you need water to leave a footprint has obviously never tried it.

Space is not filled with micrometeorites. Due to the vastness of space, meteorites and micrometeorites are very rare. Even with the tens of thousands of Earth orbits experienced by the USA, Russians and others, there have been only a few minor incidents where micrometeorites have struck the surfaces of spacecraft and the damage has been very minor. Those spacecraft as well as numerous satellites are still up there during multiple annual meteor showers and have never been damaged.

The same lack of understanding of physics explains most of the conspiracy theories about 9/11. You will also have a difficult time locating most of the officials who the conspirator theorists claim to have seen explosions or have inside information, because they were fabrications created to sell books and DVDs. Those that have been located have denied making those statements. The others never existed.

Facts do speak for themselves, but only when you pay attention to the facts and know how to separate facts from fiction.
