First off... CONGRATULATIONS! And, secondly, welcome to Aardvark...

Will you have children in tow or are you just getting ahead of yourself, posting in the Family Travel forum...? Smile

Probably a little more information would help...

- where are you based? (what's hot/cold as far as you're concerned?)
- what's your budget?
- what kind of things would you like to do?

On second thoughts... ignore the last question. You're on honeymoon afterall. Wink

Hi

I would suggest Thailand but I see the you live in Hong Kong so I guess you want something "different". In Europe you should be able to get some decent weather in Italy. What about Rome? I went to Japan in May a couple of years back and that was nice...you can check out world's largest travel video directory at travelervideos.com and decide by yourself.
Good luck and God bless you.

South Africa's weather is pretty mild this time of year, and there are a lot of options of what to do there.

I’d like to recommend visiting Asian countries because the weather is pretty normal as compared to Europe and African etc.
Thailand is good destination for your honeymoon which is the natural country in Asia with lots of places like Phuket, Bangkok and Pattaya etc.
If you want cool season then visit November to February, for hot season visit March to May and for rainy season then visit June to October.

Hey I found this very strange in the beginning, though I am happy that someone did answer my needs too but it was astounding to see someone replying to the queries asked more than three years ago! Nevertheless thanks to you as I was in almost the same position in trying to find the best honeymoon location. I am currently in India and got married on Aug 6th. I was desperate to set out for the honeymoon this month itself, only the choice of places made me so perplexed the trip has to be deferred unfortunately.
Hope these forums would lead me to establish some concrete ideas.

Locking this now. Original post was made in March 2007, asking for April (presumably the following month or 13 months on). I suspect that over 4 years later, said honeymoon has probably been completed. Rolling Eyes
