I've been on TV a couple of time Twice on Belgian quiz-shows : the Belgian version of Jeapordy and another quiz. I lost twice, once against a player that was way too strong and once because I got distracted during an easy question
Apart from that, we've been accidently on TV quite often, usually passing by or walking at the right place at the right moment, but never really aiming on being on TV - it just happens.... |

I can think of a few times when I've been on.
I was an extra in a film when I was about 10 years old. I had to get on a train (it was supposedly Paddington but it was actually Manchester Piccadilly) and pretend I was going away to boarding school. Missed a day of school, so wasn't complaining. The funny thing was that the signs at the station had all been changed to show Paddington, and the looks on the faces of passengers disembarking from real journeys, when they saw the signs, were quite entertaining... they thought they were in Manchester, but the signs were telling them they were in London!
A few years later, I was in the background on some local news in Bristol. A guy at my school was setting the world record for 'dips' on parallel bars. I think he did something like 120 in a minute, and yours truly was there watching.
I was also once on BSkyB when watching my football team play in the FA Cup. I don't know why but the camera zoomed in on me and a friend once at the beginning of the match, and again when my team scored. But we lost 2-1 in the end.
Finally, and most recently, I was interviewed on local news in Cumbria for a website we run. It was all to do with this section of one of our local sites, which celebrates one of the more unusual pastimes we're renowned for.

My finger has pointed to the location on a map of a small earthquake in Victoria, Australia.
My face, wisely, was not shown. |

I was on Border TV news during Foot and Mouth. I was walking though Carlisle carrying a banner and Tied up in red tape.Along with other business owners we formed Cumbria Crisis Alliance. This was one of the stunts we pulled to get some pulicity. And it worked. _________________ (\__/) Chinese Proverb - He who asks a question is a fool for a minute; he who does not remains a fool forever.

Been on a few times, but it has not yet been proven in the courts.
My first,I raised money for the Royal Children's Hospital. I met Zig and Zag the clowns, been scared of clowns ever since.
Also as a kid was on the front page of Herald Sun, one on two main papers in Melbourne. Some aboriginal performers visited my school.
My tv career has been all down hill since the age of 6. _________________ Free Home Exchange..RV..Yacht |

I was once on an Everton season review video (along with a few thousand others it has to be said ) and that's my only claim to fame. _________________ My blog |

I've been on local television a number of times.
Once in Spokane, responding to crime on the campus of the school I was attending, once on Seattle news the day of the Federal Building Bombing in Oklahoma City. I was working in the Seattle Federal Building at the time....a friend told me a friend of his called to say I was seen no fewer than 10 times that day...must have made the right inflammatory statement.
and I was on Wheel of Fortune waaay back in 1986. I was the big winner of the day and in the bonus round won a trip to Australia. |

No I haven't been on TV. So if there are TV producers down there book me up! My TF is negotiable. _________________ Hanley Oaks |

I was on TV just once for a minute or so and I couldn't believe, how many people saw it. Somebody even asked me about it one year after the show was on. Now I understand how celebrities feel _________________ Bendie

I was on TV once - I spotted myself in the crowd as a corner kick came over during an FA Cup tie between Man City (my team) and Man Utd (the scum of world football ). I saw my sister first, and had to replay the video several times frame-by-frame before I spotted myself (and rather strangely, I was the only one in the crowd looking in completely the wrong direction... ) _________________ Track your Euros here
