Going to Turkey in the latter half of October? What kind of weather can I expect in Istanbul, Cappadocia & Fethiye?

I lived in Izmir for three years and in October the weather is just beginning to turn a little dreary around that time, by that I mean more drizzle and clouds. But there are also many nice and sunny days as well. If you want to lay out on the beach and swim, that's about as late as I'd go. Bring a jacket, but you won't need a coat. Izmir is north of Fethiye and I also did some travel on the Aegean coast during the fall. One nice thing is that most Europeans and Turks have already had their vacation, but a lot of stuff is still open for tourism business.

Weather is fantastic end of september and all through the october...It is not very hot and very pleasant at night time......I always spend october in Turkey...if you need more advice pls log into my web site.....Aslan
