| Hi, travelling to Europe from Oz in July-August, looking for gay friendly night life, accomodation, but also some good attractions not to be missed, maybe off the beaten track? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I can comment on London's gay scene.
It primarily revolves around central London in Soho, near Tottenham Court Road tube and around Old Compton Street. There is another 'village' in the Vauxhall area in the south. The gay scene in London tends to target certain niches: indie nights, pop nights, bear nights, leather, underwear, tv, naked nights, etc. It really depends on your tastes. I find QX magazine to be a good resource for what's happening every week in London. _________________ Doug

| Check out scene-OUT.com - a comprehensive site covering London's vibrant gay clubbing, bar, sauna, arts and social scenes. There's also discussion forums where you can post if you're looking for any travel advice or questions about the gay scene. |

Amsterdam is the gay capital so surely you will find many different attraction for gay (exept of the many other attractions there) and will find the city very gay welcoming.
As many gays are attracte to the city, you can find different gay clubs or bars much more in Amsterdam than in any other city.
One of the most gay streets is Reguliersdwarsstraat and you can find many gay attraction like the Cock Ring on the Warmoesstraat as well. This street is located close to the red light district and in it you will find a few places.
You can read some more information about gay places in Amsterdam here: http://www.amsterdam2book.com/default.asp?SubId=677 _________________ Everything you wanted to ask about Amsterdam and never dared asking.
