After 6 months of RWT, I plan to go to travel in easr asia, so thailand 1 month, 2 weeks in cambodia, and 2 weeks back in thailand then take the plane.
so i ll never stay longer than 30 days in thailand.

When I ll arrive in thailand Customs will ask me to show the ticket...
and when they ll sey I take the plane 60 days:
- either they ll ask to show my visa(I ll not have any visa)
- Or I prove I can be back

alright Ted, now the stupid question:

How can I prove it?

tx for your patience

I don't know of any reason why a French national (I'm guessing from your email address here, but more detail in your profile would help!)will be treated any differently than we Brits were in 2000.

The Thai authorities didn't seem bothered about formalities. We entered from Malaysia overland, and weren't asked for proof of our travel plans at all. You get your visa on the border (for free in 2000). The stamp entitles you to stay 90 days. I doubt that crossing over into Cambodia or Laos will complicate things, as this is exaclty what many of the thousands of visitors to Thailand do every year.

We spent three weeks in Northern Thailand and Near the Cam Border before flying from Bangkok to Sri Lanka. Our return flight to us through BKK on our way to London, and we left the airport and went into the city for our 7 hour stopover. This is another illustration of how easy it is to move around without the immigration authorities hassling you.

What makes you so worried about your trip?

Dan.
