I've ben there, thing is, it's not the muslim, non-muslim thing, its the where should it be,
Its a touristic area, you serve your audience like they want to be served, and you treat them the way they want to be treated, thats why they dont go to your house when they travel to your country, they go to your hotel.
Now speaking of who's fault it is, I agree or banning topless sunbathing in public beaches and keeping full freedom in hotels, I have spoken to many, I mean MANY local egyptians and they all stated and quoted themselves as bottomn line as it sounds "We come here to see boobies " why would an egyptian local come to a hotel if he HAS a house and has all the free beaches to go to, so its no longer an issue of muslim or non.
If you wanna talk about "noble" and "loyal" to islam, Ya, I had to tip 4 police men there and they took it as a bribe, and they are definitely muslim.
So topless in public beaches-Wrong, Topless and clothes free in hotels-Right
Feel free to email me in case of anything. |

Hi Saz,
I have been twice to Egypt on holidays and I found that topless sunbath is allowed on beach. _________________ Cheap Egypt Holidays | Holiday Greece |

I was in Hurghada, and topless bathing wasn't allowed. Our guide told us to follow that rule strictly. _________________ Travel to Mykonos or Travel to Barcelona |

Yes I think its nor fair being topless in Egypt as we should value their culture though there is no law constraints..... _________________ Sig removed |

| Guys I lived in Egypt for more than 40 years, I visited each and every coastal city, I am not sure if this is allowed by low or not, whatever, I am used to see topless girls in Sharm, Hurghada, Nuweiba, Dahab, Safaga, Quseir, ...etc almost all Red sea beaches and I have never seen any body objecting although this is against the Islamic culture and believes, conclusion if you are not concerned with the respect to other cultures, you can do fearlessly sunbathing topless there. |

I strongly oppose these kind of activities. Being a traveler, we should respect their values and beliefs. Sunbathing topless is a kind of abusing their culture. _________________ Sig removed |

You only need to check advice for Egypt on many large well-respected sites and you will find out, like many Muslim countries in MENA region that topless sunbathing is not acceptable.
I have a few Egyptian friends, and their wives are not even allowed to expose their hair in public. With this rule,do you think they would tollerate topless sunbathing? _________________ Holiday Rentals | Holiday Apartments | Advertise Holiday Accommodation FREE |
