Where I live, I think more people had fireworks on Saturday night than they did on 5 November. And it was pouring with rain on Saturday night!

But I feel for all the poor animals (dogs and cats etc), who get very frightened about all the noise of the fireworks. I think people are just so selfish sometimes.

We did ours on the 5th, burgers and fireworks! It was a little bit rainy then, but only for a few minutes. I did hear a load of them going off on Saturday too though.

I do feel sorry for cats and dogs at the times of year when there are lots of fireworks being let off. At least in the U S you do your big fireworks celebration in July when the weather *should* be pretty good. Doing it in November, like we do over here, just seems dumb to me, it's cold and more often than not raining at that time of year, which IMO kind of spoils the whole thing. Sure fireworks are nice, but not worth freezing my backside off for. *shrug*
(Yes, I know there's an historical reason for it and all, but couldn't we pretend that Guy Fawkes did his thing in June? or maybe find a reason in mid summer to do our fireworks instead.)

My dog needs therapy everytime he sees the grill and fireworks being let out from the garage. The ear muffles don't work. Sad

Hehe, poor thing. I don't let my dog bark or cry about the fireworks, don't want to teach her it's okay to do.

Cities in China are always crowded with people for we have such a big population. Hangzhou is also populous. It is really a torment to take a heavily-crowded bus during the rush hour. Crying or Very sad
