*sigh*... all your answers makes me feel so ... dreamy.... I've never been to Europe myself, but it seems like I'll have to spare a good 6 months if I were to visit all those dreamy little places you've all listed above...
my own favorite place so far is:
Redang Island, Malaysia
A nice little island to just relax and while away your time. It may be a lot more touristy now, but the sandy white beaches is still there, as well as the crystal clear water where you can just float and tan your day away. True story, I was lazing in the water once without realizing the various little fishes swimming around me! Bring your own bread to invite them all! At night, the clear dark sky is strewn with stars for your amazement! _________________ Unearthing Asia - A Travel Blog focusing on Culture, Lifestyle and Attractions all around Asia. http://unearthing-asia.com |

It is amost a second home to me. The rocking city is my lifeline to enliven me whenever the monotonies of daily life depress me. I pick up my car keys and zoom into the welcoming domains of the wonderful city. From being a foodie's paradise to the fact that it is hard to find a match in al over India; I love evrything about the city. _________________ Convenient Chile ski packages for Termas de Chillan ski resort |

Mine is Niagara Falls. It's look alone is breathtaking. Plus a ride on the Maid of the Mist boat tours, a half-hour ride, which took us into the swirling waters on the American side of the falls was really captivating and it's worth getting wet during the ride, although hooded raincoats are provided if you failed to bring yours. The Cave of the Winds trip on the other hand will take you into an elevator deep into the Niagara Gorge. Standing on the “Hurricane Deck” will allow you a better view of the Bridal Veil Falls from a distance of just 20 feet. _________________ Gesetzliche Rentenversicherung | Bayern Reinkarnationstherapeutin |

| I've travelled around Europe, Australia and South East Asia and loved most places I stayed but SE Asia was amazing and Laos was by far the best country I've ever visited. They are less used to tourists as Thailand so you can get an authentic feel for the culture and the people are so beautiful. They have very little, especially in the remote villages and yet they are so full of spirit and would do anything to help you, and not for money like some places in SE Asia. I especially loved the south, 4,000 Islands.. what a beautiful place! |

I love Barcelona especially all Gaudi's architecture. I also loved the laid back lifestyle and surfing of Cabarete, Dominican Republic. _________________ Round the world travel blog |

That sounds absolutely amazing! I'd swap dirty old Europe for somethin like that in a moment, if I could. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great sites to see around Europe, so much history, but not so much in the way of beautiful natural vistas IMO, at least not unless you go find some of the remoter spots. *shrug* _________________ car hire Italy - car hire France - car hire Spain |

But Sparky, sandy white beaches, crystal clear water, tan your day away. Isn't that a cliché? There is far more to favourite travel places than one stereotypical image. _________________ Google Profile |

Ah, but John, cliches generally become cliches for a good reason
Don't get me wrong, I'd probably get bored after a couple of days of lying on an idyllic beach, but right now I could really use those couple of days! Mostly when I travel I do like to get around and see the sites, both historical and natural, but there are also times when just having a day or two to relax, without a care in the world, is an absolutely amazing recharge for the soul. _________________ car hire Italy - car hire France - car hire Spain |

I would recommend "Pai, Mae Hong Son, Thailand" (the North of Thailand, next to Chiang Rai)
With 762 curves along the route 1095 to a fascinating destination Pai, a tiny town in Mae Hong Son, is another popular secluded place for visitors to come and enveloped in fresh, beautiful natural setting with cultural art.
Pai is not only embraced by rolling mountains clean, pure, quiet and warmly welcoming surroundings. It is also offers you a rich bohemian atmosphere where you can collect your thoughts and commune with nature. The different ethnic, religious beliefs and languages of the people of plains and the people of the mountains have blended together here to form a unique set of cultural traditions. The citizens of Pai live their lives with a spirit of generosity and a sense of community, always ready to give someone a helping hand. These are why Pai is called "Utopia of Thailand". |

My favourite thing in the world is probably waking up in the African bush, in a tented camp in the Kruger National Park. The birds, the crickets, there really is nothing like it.
I also had a great time driving by myself around the US from Memphis to New Orleans to Miama and the Florida Keys. _________________ Kieran
