| Believe it or not, there's a great one on the Paseo Maritimo in Palma de Mallorca. If I remember rightly, it is called Restaurant Mughal. |

If you're looking for a good Indian restaurant in Barcelona I highly recommend
"Rani" at the intersection of C/ Bailen and C/ Diputacio (nearest metro Tetuan)
Excellent food and friendly service. _________________ My Spanish Travel Site

| Jewel in the Crown in Newburyport Massachusetts. I aslo like Haggartys in Portland Maine. I really like the chicken tikka masala, but I hear that is not really authentic. |

Jashan in Turnpike Lane, North London. Just awesome, best I've had in London.
If that's not convenient, try their other outlet at Dubai International Airport... _________________ Robert

sorry, that made me laugh... if the London restaurant isn't convenient, try the one in Dubai
For me, the best local Indian restaurant is Vujon in Newcastle. A bit expensive, but quite different to the usual "Indian" restaurant food. I have also heard good reports about a newer restaurant right next door called Rasa, which specialises in south Indian food. But I haven't tried it yet.
I also rather like the mega-bargain buffet lunches at two vegetarian places near Euston station in London - Diwana Bhel Puri house and Chutneys (and there's a great Indian sweet shop next to Chutneys, too!)
And of all restaurants I have ever eaten in, the Waterfront restaurant in Hyderabad in India, looking out over Hassan Sagar lake, has some of the bext Indian food I have ever had (the makhani dhal there is just about perfect!) _________________ Track your Euros here

Yep - imagine my excitement when I actually went to the one in Dubai! I've got a photo of myself in front of it with a big grin on my face... _________________ Robert

Cool
Glad I'm not the only one to stand in front of restaurants for the cheesy-grin snapshot! _________________ Track your Euros here

Mine it is Annapurna in Spain, when I have the chance I go there for lunch or dinner. They are in the street that makes corner with Spanish Conservative Party National Headquarters, not exactly a friendly area but the food compensates nearby neighbours. |
