Hello
I thought you might be interested in our plans for Easter of 2008 using old cars.
A group of guys have decided to embark on the trip of a life time. Adventure 2008 will take the adventurers towards Dracula's  Castle, Transylvania and return, taking in as many countries in Europe possible in the time.
The Journey
Leaving Scotland , travel through England to Dover (probably) for a ferry to Belgium. Drive through Belgium , France , Luxembourg , Switzerland & Liechtenstein , Italy , Austria , Slovenia , Croatia , Hungary , Romania , Ukraine , Slovak Republic , Poland , Czech Republic , Germany into Holland to the ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle. And home....En route, visiting hostelries, wine producing areas, beer brewing districts and other touristic places such as Dracula's Castle, Old Places, Big Hills and Wide Rivers. Total distance approx. 3,650 miles. Or so. Roughly.
Adventure 2008 will take place during the School break at Easter 2008. Dates have still to be confirmed.

A wee explanation is required.
Easter 2008 holidays in Scotland are Friday 21 March (Good Friday) and Monday 24 March.
But Scotlands School holidays are different. They have chosen (generally) to fix two weeks Easter break at the first two full weeks in April.
That's when we will be going. Friday 5th April returning Sunday 20th April.
