Okay, here's my dilemma, a good while ago my mum bought tickets for a big family trip to Canada, (I'm 18)

Now about two months ago, me and my friends were stupid and discharged an imitation firearm. It was night, no-one around, it fired blanks, (it was pretty much a starting pistol) We had been firing it off in a forest, and it jammed, so we left. Going down the road I managed to un-jam it and so we got out and fired the last shot we had.

Because of our brilliant luck, a unmarked police car was a way down the road and stopped us, we were arrested and I recieved a police Caution a month later.

Now my mum had booked these tickets a while ago, and I haven't told her about my caution, (She'd literally kill me) But I want to know what would happen when I get to immigration in Canada, will they stop me and bring this up? Or will they let me in. And do you have any suggestions?

Not sure that is a reason not to get into Canada, but I'd phone Canadian Embassy before going to airport.

I don't think Canada is anything like the US and when I went there they can't have done much of a check on me as I was only in immigration for about 5 minutes if that, but might be worth contacting the ebassy just to check whether a caution would show up. Seemed to be more interested in the fact that I could prove I was leaving than anything and don't think they even put the passport through the computer.

Just don't give them your passport number or tell them it was a "gun", maybe just a "starting pistol" or "caps pistol" or they might start to take more notice.

Can't remember that i got this kind of questions when entering to Canada. It is not like the US where you need to fill in that form on the plane that ask you all kind of questions.

The only form they have for Canada is more for what kind of stuff you are bringing.

But again i would contact the embassy and ask before you leave.

And if you have a stop over in the US then i would expect problems Crying or Very sad
