Hi,
I am going to China for 1st time in July and would love to go down Li River, except I hear that it's terribly touristic. Does anyone know of a beautiful, non-touristed river in China where one can get off and visit villages every 10 km. or so?
Thanks. |

Hi, there,
Greetings from Ricky, easytourchina.com!
Frankly speaking, the 3-hour Li River cruise is quite relaxing with the stunning limestone hills jotting out of the grounds, water buffalo swiming in the clear river. We do have some nice pics if you want to have a look. Or hiking along the Li River is a special experience, just the most beautiful part from Yangdi to Xingping. When you arrive at Yangshuo, we can arrange local bamboo rafting (two people share one raft) for you down the Yulong River, a tributary of Li River. |

Hi!
Lijiang River is indeed terribly touristic, but it's all because it is the famous tourism scene spot with beautiful scenery.
Cruise along Li River, you can find a small town, YangShuo. You may choose to hire a bicycle enjoying along the countryside road with the breathtaking scenery around the town and finding a tiny and enigmatic world. In the afternoon wondering along the West Street or having a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe, you enjoy the sunset behind the local village with the cooking smoke rising over the village. There are many cafes and restaurants in Yangshuo where you can try local specialities or more familiar dishes for our lunch and dinner.
