DasParkHotel is a series of single-occupancy rooms in Linz, Austria.
Tourists can book the rooms online, and pay whatever amount they can. As the hotel has no facilities beyond sleeping rooms, guests should plan to use facilites like nearby showers in the public pool, and bathrooms in museums (the web site has a map of local facilities).
The intent is great, but the open hole in the top of the cylinder raises the question of how to keep out unwanted intruders (human and animal), rain, and bugs ... _________________ Massage therapy London thai medicine clinic masaż tajski kurs szkola masazu tajskiego |

I checked out this website, and the idea is very novel. I like doing weird travel-y things, and so I may just give this one a go. The only problem I have is the hole on the side. I cannot stand spiders, and fear that they might get in and crawl on me. Other than that, I'm being seduced by the idea of paying very little to sleep in beautiful surroundings. If I do go, I shall be sure to post a review here! _________________ www.offtoberlin.com - NEW LOOK WEBSITE - cars, hostels, tours & free advisory service! |

How long before someone drives across the park to push (roll) those structures around with no regard for who is inside?
I doubt all users of the facility will be single occupants either.

There was a hostel in Nuremberg last year that had a special offer for the whole of January, when I guess it is normally quiet. Basically you stayed for free, and tipped the owner whatever you thought your stay was worth
Funny thing was, although a few people gave nothing, most gave around 2/3 to 3/4 of what he would normally get from a guest, and he was full for the whole month when normally he would only have half the guests.
If you do the maths...it worked _________________ Paul

Another thing that concerns me is the place to keep my passport, wallet and such. I can do shared shower, shared restroom, etc., but I don't want my stuff stolen. _________________ Online Education :: Career Development Forum

I spent some tim ein Bad Riechanal - Austria/Germany - if there are place like this near there - USE THEM. What an amazing, quiet and beautiful place. Two of us ate drank all night and left on about $15 between us and the food/beer was great! Don't go package - just drive over and find your way. Beautiful place! |
