Last year there was a thread about a possible Aardvark Travel calendar. We left it a little late in the day, however, and decided not to bother that year but I did say I would bring it up again for this year. We have far more members now than we did then, and we have had quite a lot of interest in the travel photos thread.
It might seem a little premature to be making tentative plans for a 2006 calendar but, if we're to go ahead, we'll need to decide on pictures, get everything collated and uploaded to Cafe Press, and still leave enough time for people to place orders and receive said item prior to Christmas.
As suggested before, we could each submit a picture from our respective corners of the world, for inclusion in the calendar for the various months. We wouldn't be looking to make any money from it... just to do it at cost, for the love of it. What do you think? (For an example of the kind of thing we could do, click here.)
Please vote in their poll as to whether this might be something you'd buy. I don't expect huge numbers of sales but even half a dozen yes votes would make it worthwhile...

I always have some sort of travel calendar in my office (face it, looking at a picture of the Rakaia Gorge and Mt. Hutt is much nicer than looking at work that is to be done).
I'd be game. |

I would also be very interested, as I alway's pick up a Calendar with nice scenery,
last years was the Canadian Rockies, this year was the Australia outback, next year was going to be Costa Rica scenery, but I'd be game to proudly display an Aardvark Travel Calendar in my home or office, as long as you'd pick one of my travel photos. |

I tried, however had difficulties and gave up.
So I thought if I sent them directly to Trev, maybe he'd be able to download and post them for me |

So, what's the verdict,
Christmas is coming up soon, should I include Aardvark calendars on my check list.

Nice idea but unfortunately Cafepress doesn't allow you to do that. Of course, if anyone knows an alternative to Cafepress that would allow that, then please let me know.
