Yes it really does depend on where abouts you are planning on going. Many people are drawn to Southern Africa by the wildlife and a great time to visit is during the cooler regional winter months when there is generally less precipitation and the vegetation is thinner providing better opportunities to spot animals

Last JANUARY, I was in Africa due to my business trip and it was fabulous and the climate also excellent and very comfortable for me.

Africa is one of the most famous tourist destination. I think, summer is the best time to stay and travel in Africa. African wildlife is the center of attraction of Africa.

I would say anytime from January - March and then Nov - Dec because that's mostly when they have Summer and it gets really hot hot hot.

For Kenya best time is from January - March & July - November. For the Masai Mara it is July - October when the great migration takes place.

i can help you by sharing some info about safari and when is the best time for safari for africa.
Here I have a list of country and beside their the best time for safari in that country

kenya - january to March and July to October
Tanzania -February to March
Uganda - December to March and june to september
zambabwe -August to December

This is only from my experience.So justify before go to Africa!

Hi all,
As mentioned earlier by other members it depends on the country you are visiting. But if considering Egypt the best time would be from Mid October till end of April as summer tends to be very hot and is good for water sports, diving ..hope this helps

Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and Morocco are the best countries to visit in Africa. Egypt is a great destination as well but I think it's not safe to go to Egypt for the moment untill the situation is calm and things get back to the right way.

It's very simple. When we have winter, you can get there some nice temperature, so the best period starts from October til March probably maximum. Though when you go to Safari there is no such thing as perfect period, since the location is perfect.
