Pleasure to be here.
I get around a lot. Thanks to the no visa entry policy in effect for all affiliated Southeast Asian nations (Singapore, Burma, Malaysia, Laos, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei and East Timor), getting bitten by the travel bug during vacations isn't far away. Other countries I had visited include Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Jamaica.
I encountered a lot of people in some forums asking about what to expect in the places we visit. Since, I'm Filipino, so that would make me an expert (quite) on travel to her 7,000 islands plus, so anybody who wants to make a scheduled stop or have questions, just fire away.
By the way, my friends call me Jennifer.
See you all a the forums. |

Someone in another forum asked about the best places in the Caribbean to visit and the subject of Jamaica cropped up. Happenstance got me there enroute from Canada, to Kingston where my elder brother was the chief engineer of a supply ship plying Montego Bay, Cuba and Trinidad-Tobago.
Ah Montego Bay. despite the John Travolta episode there about a year ago, there is no substitute for its resplendent span of beaches, clear blue water, exotic marine life, friendliness and hospitality of the people.
Must-see? It's the first and last place you ought to see. Lemme get to the Bahamas and see if it compares.
Thanks. Till next time. |
