to enjoy the magic of the snowy season, the best way is a ski resort destination. So for me it is Tsakhkadzor – one of the main tourism and leisure centers in Armenia. a unique place for singles, couples and families
So which is a best place for you and what type of tourism you prefer mostly in winter? |

Touring foothills of the Himalays is also great in winter. Even though Himalaya is about trekking and hard core adventure, simply touring around foothills of the Himalaya is quite fantastic. As days are sunny and clear, Himalayan view apper spectacular throughout winter. The most famous Himalayan destinations for winter are :
Pokhara (800m) : The lake city with Annapurna (8,091m / 10th highest in the world) only about 30 miles away.
Chitwan National Park : UNESCO Heritage site for its last numbers of Bangel Tigers, Asian Elephants and One horned Rhinocerious.
Kathmandu : The cultural heritage site listed by UNESCO for its beautiful art and crafts.
Lumbini : UNESCO site of birth place of Buddha _________________ Nepal Trekking Picture

I really like the English countryside in Winter. With the winter markets everywhere and the snow up north, I really liked it.
More out of the way was the Haerbin International Ice Festival. That was awesome. The most impressive thing I have ever seen. Totally worth the trip to China just for that.
The next one I want to do is the trans siberrean railroad suring winter or late fall. I want to see the real siberia. One day, it will come. _________________ How I work abroad. Where I travel abroad. |

If you like skating (on ice) you should consider coming the Netherlands some time. That is a typically Dutch and very popular in our country.
Having said that, it must be a cold winter (like januari this year) otherwise the ice on the canals and lakes won't be thick enough. With all the people on the ice, skating through the Dutch countryside is a great way to spend your winter. Unfortunately this occurs only once in several years. |

| As far as I have traveled, I liked Thailand. Their hospitality is awesome and they know how to treat a guest. |

Dominica To experience the Caribbean's natural landscapes at their most dramatic.Cuba
It's the Caribbean at its most fascinating - an unlikely mixture of arcane Communist ways, decrepit vintage Cadillacs, faded Spanish colonial architecture, fantastic music everywhere you go and the world's best cigars.4. The Maldive For Robinson Crusoe escapism, but with 21st-century comforts. |

| The Smoky Mountains is one of my favorite vacation places. I've always stayed in Gatlinburg. I created the walk up Clingmans Dome and the read is spectacular. |

Winter is beautiful in the Himalayas as snow line comes lower and the mountain appears brighter than even against clear blue sky. However higher reaches of the Himalayas become inaccessible. Foothills of the Himalayas offer beautiful walking with great scenery and opportunity of cultural encounter.
