Balut from Philippines. It is a fertilized duck embryo that is boiled alive and eaten in the shell.

Hahaha. Balut? One of the best exotic food our country has to offer. You might also add bagoong, isaw and betamax. Philippines has many exotic foods that are tremendously delicious.

Aside from Balut, you can eat exotic foods in the Philippines like frog and mouse/mouse farm.

Tried Balut in the Philippines. I had to do it in an almost pitch black bar after many beers. It was nice but I didn't want to repeat it in the daytime. Also tried raw tree slugs/snakes on the same trip. Tasted a bit like oysters but were long and slimy.

Fried frog in Cambodia at a street stall. Similar to a KFC actually.

Tried the bugs in Thailand too, might of been crickets? No my cup of tea.
