I've been on a cruiseship once. I went with my family, it was a special...$400 per person. It was an amazing experience, especially the 24-hour buffet in almost all the restaurants (if that's not heaven, what is?). But I gained 4 Kgs after 4 days and it was not my happiest moment! It was a trip from Singapore to Malaysia and back on the Starcruise Virgo if I remember correctly. The one with the pool slides on the top floor. |

Yes but I don't have that enough budget to push that vacation plan. _________________ Take our online eligibility assessment and see if you qualify for a Travel Visa to USA now. |

I worked onboard for 3 years. I loved it. To travel by ships is more of a way to see a bunch of places for a very brief time. Since I worked onboard I got to see each port week after week, so that was cool.
If you are very interested in seeing a culture or see a specific aspect of a country, it might not be the right vacation for you. If you like being on a resort style place peppered with countries it would be perfect.
The only ships I'll go on these days would be a trans atlantic or transpacific as another means of transit. _________________ How I work abroad. Where I travel abroad. |
