One of the best beaches in Europe is Sunny Beach. The scenery is not so impressive but the beach is about 8 km long, with golden sand, the seabed is even and allows walking in the sea till 20-30 metres from the beach which makes it comfortable and children friendly. If it is about a beautiful, romantic and quiet beach in Bulgaria, then go for Sinemoretz or Silistar.

I can see Greece getting a lot of votes, which is only logical and of course makes me happy! I've said in another post that the beaches in Rhodes offer some of the hottest waters in the Mediterranean. But man, La Pelosa in Italy seems wonderful! Never been, and have to visit next time I'm in the Sud! Grazie for sharing Wink

This will make people laugh but Scotland has some amazing beaches along the islands and the north coast, although the weather is not ideal . . . .!

I see Greece gets a lot of mentions, but I thought their beaches were rather rocky and that's not my cup of tea.

My guess is that Greece has the most beautiful beaches. Croatia has a beautiful beach, but for me the most beautiful beach is located in Ixtapa, Mexico

The nicest beach I've seen in Europe is Sa Coma in Mallorca. The place is somewhat touristy (and very German-oriented), but the beach is stunning (blue/green, clear, sandy).

The best beaches I have been to so far have all been in Barbados. I haven't found any beaches in Europe that can compare.

Hi...All of you forgotten that this is topic about eastern Europe!
Greece is not part of E. Europe! Iam wrong????
The best beach in this part of Europe is in Sopot, Poland, a small city between Gdansk and Gdynia cities. Sopot got a pier which is long enough, to compete with Brighton one....
