An American Arrives :)

I always forget to introduce myself when I get to new forums, so I've already posted a few times, but I wanted to makes sure I came back and said hi

My name's Edwin and I'm just short of 25 years old at the moment. I'm originally from the New York City area, and when people ask where I'm from I never say the US--I always say "New York."

I've traveled to 35 U.S. states (if I counted right), 4 Australian ones, 15 European countries, as well as Mexico and Canada. I'd like to travel...everywhere! But my next goals are Iceland, Finland, Greece, China, Japan, and India.

I've enjoyed only budget travel so far, but one day I'd like to have the luxury of a private hotel room and enough money to go see all the shows in town.

I'm a voracious reader, an awesome unicycler, and a decent magician. And somehow all that has helped me in my travels

I came across this forum while doing a search for travel forums on Google. To be 100% honest, I'm trying to get more involved in the travel community as I spread the word about a travel guide I'm writing that I'm trying to fund through Kickstarter called "Europe on 5 Euros a Day."

I can't quite figure out how to put a signature into my messages, so I'd like to mention that I'm also writing a travel blog at fiveeurosaday.wordpress.com
