Hello,
Egypt is amazing if you are going to spend a summer vacation the weather is fine in the north cost I went to Hurghada but the sun is very strong make sure to wear a hat and have a sun block you can do sea safari and scuba diving
The best thing is to check out some deal websites as a lot of hot deals are offered |

| Egypt is a great place to visit, since you are looking at both visiting Cairo for the pyramids and the red sea for water sports then I would recommend a vacation of at least 10 days to enjoy both. There are numerous hotels in Egypt so it really depends on your budget and style, I'm usually able to get good deals in Egypt and elsewhere through rihlaprime which offer some very competitive discounts on hotels. I previously stayed at Makadi Bay near hurghada which was very interesting and relaxing but not much nightlife, however you would enjoy the snorkeling and diving there. In Cairo I previously stayed at the Sheraton in downtown which was nice but not awesome. |

Hi OliviaSwan
Not sure exactly is the date you have in mind traveling to Egypt, but generally during summer time you can have a lot water activities mainly at Sharm el sheikh or Hurghada where you will find so many options from deep diving, scuba diving to boat trips and a lot more. During summer by the way you will find many special Hotel offers with good service and real low rates.
Hope you have a great holiday! |

Hi Olivia,
about water sports I can just tell you that in any hotel in Egypt you will find an aqua center on the beach, where you can do practically all kinds of water activities, e.g. windsurfing, kite-surfing, banana boat etc. If you want to visit pyramids or other sights, I can recommend you a travel agency called Red Sea Reisen, we used their services during our last holiday in Egypt (we went to Cairo, Luxor and 1 day snorkeling), were satisfied with the prices and service as well. Usually they have some nice offers every month.. I don't know if you already went to Egypt or not yet, but hope my advice helps |

When travelling through Egypt, you should avoid certain areas, particularly sites located in the centre of the Nile Valley! About 20 years ago there was rising tensions at these sites, Islamic fundamentalists had targeted tourists in order to destroy the tourist industry and the economy. This was part of a larger plan to bring down the government, seize power themselves, and install the political ideas of their own vision, a vision which no more resembles the rules of the Qur’an than the Inquisition resembled the Christianity of Christ.
