Excess baggage fees don't bother me. It is the fee for the first and second bag that I think is totally wrong.

I do not usually preweigh my bags.

I usually look for a quality bag at a reasonable price.

Some years I fly a lot, others not so much.

I would NOT buy luggage with built-in scales -- for one thing they would add to the weight!
