In my previous post on the thread I recommended the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington. But if money is a little tighter or you want a more convienent spot try the Strand Palace Hotel on the Strand.
Ideal for theatre trips, covent garden and the usual tourist spots.
The in-house restaurant is lovely, but there are several very reasonable restaurants/bars/pubs within 2 mins walk. |

The Dorchester is great, service is second to none (obviously not cheap though!)
Also stayed in The Mandeville - rooms are very nice and rates are reasonable for that area
When I'm on business - has to be the Novotel on Euston Road - great breakfast! |
