Hi everyone,
I've heard that mexican cities next to the US border were to be avoided.
I've only been to Puerto Vallarta, which is in the middle on the west coast and have never felt unsafe or threatened whatsoever - I was never by myself though.
Hope this helps |

I was last in Mexico in 2004 and it was a pretty safe place. But I was talking to some Mexican friends last week who told me that things have got a lot worse in the last few years, They told me that most of the big cities people don't go out at night if they can avoid it, ironically it now seems that Mexico DF is now one of the safest cities. The statistics for number of deaths per month is horrendous. _________________ My Spanish Travel Site
