Errmm... that's a good point, laz! I didn't actually pay attention to the scale, just the relative positions of the different months, and how the Autumn months are often not so bad due to the lag effect of the Summer weather. But you're right... those figures can't be right at all. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering - UK B&Bs - UK Attractions

Have you considered Bournemouth, in the south? It's a great place, very toursitic in summer with plenty of students coming from all around Europe.
There's a "Pier" which makes it a very english coastline city. The overall atmosphere is great. I spent 6 months there, for my studies, and I miss it so much now.
What I really enjoyed the most was the atmosphere in Winter. Less people around, and the cold outside air makes it even better to go in a local pub and have a beer.
I also went to Blackpool, a couple of years ago but just for a couple of days. That's a must! |

| No article about the seaside can be complete without Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and Robin Hoods Bay! |

I like the Northumberland coast.
Its very quiet youll probably get a full beach to yourself and interesting places to visit like Bamburgh Castle or take a drive onto Holy Island at low tide. _________________ Cycle Accommodation |

| I'd definitely recommend the North East Coast of England for a seaside destination. Filey has the most incredible pier, and the sight of a packed cloudy beach in the Summer is brilliant. |

| Yes I absolutely love West Bay! Gorgeous and probably far more sunny than Filey... |
