HELP: How do you assign a signature?

sorry for this dumb question, but I can't seem to figure it out. How does one add a signature over here?

By default, phpBB forums allow users to have their signature. Maybe in this forum it is configured differently.

I assume if you have more than X posts you're entitled to use the signature feature. This is a way to prevent advertisers.

The exact requirement is not revealed (and has been changed several times). I'll say this much, though... it has nothing to do with how long you're a member, it's about how much you've participated.
