One of the most fun festivals I've seen, especially here in Ireland.
Although this event is also celebrated in other countries.
If you drink in moderation is very fun that you can spend time with friends. |

Ireland remains in full festive mood on St. Patrick's Day. You will enjoy different colors and a high excitation level in the country. It is a perfect time for tourists as they will see the true spirit of Ireland and the Irish people.

Seriously, St. Patrick's Day celebration in the Ireland is a real fun one can have. It is celebrated throughout the country, this year the celebration is continued for 4 days.
We have lots of event happening their, the most attraction is the festival PARADE walking on the streets of Dublin.
Those celebration was fabulous, enjoyed lot. I always wait for this celebration throughout the year.

St Patricks Day in Ireland can be really great fun. Good advice to check out towns and cities other than Dublin which can be very busy on the day - Galway is fabulous and Cork can be excellent too. _________________ Suzy Orr

My St. Patrick Day in Ireland consisted of spending too much time cleaning pigeon droppings off of my coat. _________________ My flight map. A million miles and counting....Where I’ve been around the globe. |

Hello,
once I was in a town called Čakovec in North-west part of Croatia I was very suprised when I saw how do Croats celebrate St. Patty's day. I felt like in Ireland . There was one pub called Zrinski where interier was set up all in colors of Ireland and everybody dranked Guinness. So I was curious and I asked how come they celebrate St. Patty's day.
So, the story goes - there was one English teacher from Northern Ireland teaching for many years and he was a good friend of the owner of the pub. He was the originator of the idea to bring the celebration into that pub. It was proved to be a great idea. Since than every caffe or pub in Čakovec celebrates that day.
I was lucky to meet the teacher, boy that guy is fun!!!!! |

I saw a flashmob in Kendal (UK) once - one of those ones where people just stand still for a minute whilst everyone else carries on going about their daily business. I knew it was going to happen, so I went along with my camera to take a few photos. There were about 10 people taking part. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering - UK B&Bs - UK Attractions
